About Patterson Lake:

Patterson is the Trophy Lake to end all trophy lakes but best pack your camera – trout over 45cm (18 in) must be released. Patterson is FLIPPR’s flagship; our first lake developed in 2003 is stocked with brown and rainbow trout. It constantly produces master angler and larger trout – its brown have been called “a thing of beauty!”

Honorable Stan Struthers, Minster of Conservation & FLIPPR Chair, Robert Sopuck officiated the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony in 2003. Other partners from the Municipality of Rossburn, Fisheries Branch, North Dakota Fly Fishers, Sitko, and Kristelowich families also participated in the event.

The lake is located some 6.5 km north of the junction of highways 45 and 21 at Oakburn, Manitoba. The Municipality of Rossburn offers a waterfront camping service for the benefit of all visitors.
